The Local Grind has officially expanded to Main Street Plainfield, bringing it's unique mix of 1950s soda shop style drinks with a modern twist to Hendricks County, Indiana. 

On an unusually warm day in February, we stopped in to try their smoothies. And soon realized they offer way more than I originally realized.

With more than 70 flavor options and thousands of flavor combinations, The Local Grind is more than just a coffee shop.

They have many drink options from coffee and espresso drinks to smoothies, milkshakes, bubble teas and sodas. They also offer sugar-free and gluten free options.

I didn't realize until we walked in that they offer breakfast and lunch options. They offer comfort food items like biscuits and gravy and French toast as well as lighter options like egg white cups and turkey wraps.  

Their menu items sound so delicious. We will definitely be back! They offer catering and private event options too.

Community Minded

Even though they've only been open in Plainfield for a few months, they've already had multiple events like their Mommy and Me to help create community.  

After tragedy struck a local family, the Local Grind stepped up and gave their proceeds from a few days to support the family. This community outreach has occurred in the past at their Franklin location too.
