2.    CPC Popcorn

Can you beat fresh-made, flavored popcorn? Popakernel, inside The Shops at Perry Crossing, plans to roll out a new flavor for the holidays. Simply called CPC, it combines chocolate, peanut butter and caramel together. Yum! Purchase it or any of their other 30 flavors, many of which came from customer suggestions including Picca-Dill-y, White Ranch, Sweet Cajun and many more.

3.  Customized Jewelry

Location: Going Golden in Brownsburg

Known for its permanent jewelry offerings that we highlighted last year, Going Golden also offers non-permanent, custom jewelry. We loved the stylish stacked rings, necklaces and bracelets available in various metals they can personalize for that special someone on your list. They even offer the ability to add anyone's handwriting to pieces of jewelry.

4. Pivot Christmas Trees

Location: Forget-Me-Nots in Danville
Price: $15 - $45

Give a piece of Hendricks County history with these creative trees made from local Indiana barn wood and featuring rotating wooden branches. The trees can be purchased at the store or made to order with your choice of natural barn wood or a painted finish.

5. Quilt Kit

Location: Love It Sew in Avon

Love It Sew has made quilting an easy DIY activity you can do at home with these creative quilt kits that include the fabric, pattern and instructions. Prices vary based on the kit, which range from table runners and wall hangings to large quilts. The store also offers gift cards and even classes.

6. Crocheted Christmas Trees

Location: Highway 40 Mercantile in Belleville

We love scouting for our holiday gift guide because we occasionally discover new businesses. The Route 40 Mercantile has a vast array of antiques, handmade gifts from local artists and much more. There was so much to see, but we ultimately found the KLB Creations booth and their line of crocheted holiday items including unique Christmas trees, snowflake garland and ornaments and large stockings.

7.  Blended Home All-Natural Bath & Body Products

Locations: African Plum in Plainfield
Price: $3.50 - $19.50

This new line of all-natural bath & body products is sold exclusively at African Plum Home & More in downtown Plainfield. Creating these items has become a passion project for Barn Hinen, mother of shop owner, as she seeks to educate about the benefits of using natural soaps, lotions and bath salts. Numerous scents were available for men, women and children. We loved that the kid’s soaps were in the shapes of animals as well as the time and effort they put into the packaging.  The bath salts could double as bathroom décor with their cute bottle and attached scoop.

8.  Bottle Holster

Location: Copper Top Customs in Clayton
Price: $12

Copper Top Customs provides a gold mine of great holiday gifts within its beautiful store, but this year we landed on one booth featuring creations from a mother and son duo. These innovative, handmade leather bottle holsters would be perfect for tailgating or any other social gathering where you want to have your drink with you but your hands free. We also loved gift bags made from repurposed denim back pockets in that same booth.

9.  Homemade Fudge in Holiday Snowman Tins

Location: The Fudge Kettle in Avon
Price: $20 - $35

The Fudge Kettle will offer festive snowman tins throughout the holiday season that can be filled with 1.5 pounds of their signature, homemade fudge (6 wrapped ¼-pound pieces) or other sweets found in the store. If you have a sweets lover you need to buy for, this is the place to find the perfect gift.

10. Experience: Hendricks Live!

Location: Hendricks Live! in Plainfield

We highly recommend purchasing gift cards or tickets to Hendricks Live! for what's remaining on their 2024 schedule or for their 2025 season. It has become an amazing venue for live entertainment, and they've already begun announcing great acts for 2025. They also offer gift certificates online and in-person allowing you to choose the amount that can be used for any event.

11. Gemstone Diffuser & Charm Bracelets

Location: Earth Wear in Plainfield
Price: $15 - $18

These handmade bracelets are highly durable and can be made to fit any size wrist. The diffuser versions allow for drops of essential oils to be absorbed offering therapeutic benefits.

12.  Experience: Silk Paintings, Wood Burning & Other DIY Classes

Location: Gallery on the Square in Danville

It is so easy to find great gifts at Gallery on the Square every year, but this year we decided to mix it up by highlighting the experiences they offer there. Silk painting and wood burning are just two examples, but we would suggest going in to see everything they have to offer and purchasing a gift certificate for a loved one who loves DIY. No experience is necessary, and the artists who lead the classes do an amazing job. You can also purchase gift certificates at Gallery on the Square that can be used for classes or to purchase handmade items inside the store.

13.  Custom Holiday Shirts and Cups

We loved the tees and hoodies created and sold by a local woman featuring creative holiday images and designs. She even produces eye-catching holiday cups as well. We recommend going in and seeing all the options. It would be hard not to find something that reminds you of someone on your list.

14. Holiday Sweets Box

Location: Sweet Minis Cakes & Bakes in Brownsburg
Price: $60

You can't go wrong giving delicious desserts, so we found Sweet Minis Holiday Sweets Box to be a perfect addition to this year's guide. It includes four mini cakes, four assorted cake pops and an ornament. Pre-sale orders begin Dec. 1 and end Dec. 15.

15. Dubai Chocolate Bar

Location: Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Plainfield

One of the latest TikTok trends can be found at Schakolad in The Shops at Perry Crossing. They plan to add a twist to their suddenly popular Dubai chocolate bars by replacing the usual pistacho paste with hazelnut filling this holiday season.

We couldn't leave these fun stocking stuffers off our list this year. Local artist Jess Beauchamp makes several different bath bombs that she sells at Gallery on the Square. But the ones that really caught our eye were in the shape of Stanley cups that would be perfect for the tweens on your list.

2.  Personalized Golf Ball Markers & Guitar Picks

Location: Seize the Night Designs in Danville
Price: $10 each

If you have a guitar player or golfer you buy for, then you may want to head to Seize the Night Designs for a personalized stocking stuffer. Each metal pick and ball marker come with a clever saying on them. They also have plastic guitar picks available that aren't personalized by provide an interesting reuse of credit cards.

3.  Rainbow Car Charms and Key Chains

We loved these creative rainbow charms you can hang from your car's rearview mirror or the keychain versions. The best part: They are made from embroidery floss and created by Pittsboro native Calista Mays who is now a student at Marian University and also works at the store.

4. Wax Tart Bar

You can create your own goodie bag of wax melts at a booth inside Roots to Wings. They offer jar after jar of scents you can use to fill your bag including many holiday-themed ones for the coming season.

5. Head Hauntcho Card Game

Location: Valkyries Vault in Brownsburg
Price: $15

Created by Avon resident Ben Bertoli and his wife, Bethany, this role-playing card game allows two to five players to compete to haunt as many locations as possible. Gameplay revolves around creating spirit chains of different ghostly patterns, as well as using special powers to gain the upper hand. We love that it was created by a local and sold at Valkyrie's Vault. It is suitable for ages 8+.
