The biggest weekend in racing will start right here in Hendricks County, Indiana, with the annual Carb Night Classic and Hoosier Hundred at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, May 24.

The event kicks off Memorial Day Weekend in central Indiana and includes other racing events like the Little 500 at Anderson Speedway on Saturday and the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. This year's Carb Night Classic will be the 80th edition of the event and the 54th running of it at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. 

Hoosier Hundred

The Hoosier Hundred returns to IRP for the second consecutive year and will open the massive racing weekend at 7:15 p.m. with a 100-lap feature. There will be a practice session at 3:30 p.m. and qualifying sessions at 5:15 and 6:35 p.m.

With a $25,000 prize going to the winner, expect some of the best wheelmen from around the country to make up the USAC Silver Crown field. Previous winners of the event include legendary names like A.J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, Al Unser Sr., Jason Leffler, J.J. Yeley, and Kyle Larson. 

USF2000 & Pro 2000 Championships

The Carb Night Classic schedule will commence after the Hoosier Hundred Silver Crown feature. Some of the biggest up-and-coming names in open-wheel racing will take to the track for the USF2000 Freedom 75 and USF Indy Pro 2000 Freedom 90 Championships. Past winners of the races include current INDYCAR stars such as Connor Daly, Pato O'Ward and Kyle Kirkwood.

Lineups for both events will have test sessions at 4:30 and 4:50 Friday afternoon followed by a qualifying session of two laps per car.

Pavement Midget Championship

The night will conclude with a 30-lap National Pavement Midget Championship feature. This non-points, USAC race will pay $5,000 to the winner making it a major event for competitors nationwide.

Tickets, Parking & Camping

General admission tickets to the Carb Night Classic and Hoosier Hundred are $25 and reserved seating tickets are $35. Pit passes are also $35. As with all events at IRP, children 12 and under receive free admission with a paid adult.

For free parking, fans will enter at the main gate on U.S. Highway 136/Crawfordsville Road. Preferred parking is available in Lot 2 for $10. Free primitive camping is available to all fans on the night of the event. Camping spots must be reserved and do not include admission to the races.
