Check out Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for a full calendar of weekend events from April to October. Whether you’re a die-hard NASCAR fan or looking to experience the thrill of your first race, a weekend at the speedway is a uniquely local experience you won’t want to miss.

Local residents enjoy a wealth of access to nature with several local parks to enjoy. The 232-acre McCloud Nature Park is a crown jewel with its interpretive exhibits, diverse wildlife population, and sparkling creeks. Likewise, the Echo Hollow Nature Park offers visitors plenty of serene hiking trails, pond fishing, and wildlife viewing. Valley Ranch near Brownsburg offers horse riding lessons for all skill levels, while Ellis Park is another local favorite with water slides, jungle gyms, and picnic areas–the perfect place to wind down with family and friends in the heart of Danville.
