Motorsport fans need no introduction to the area. Home to the Indy 500 and other prestigious races, central Indiana offers race aficionados plenty of enticement. Check out Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for a full calendar of weekend events from April to October.

The 232-acre McCloud Nature Park is a crown jewel with its interpretive exhibits, diverse wildlife population, and sparkling creeks. Likewise, the Echo Hollow Nature Park offers visitors plenty of serene hiking trails, pond fishing, and wildlife viewing.
Natural Valley Ranch near Brownsburg offers horse riding lessons for all skill levels, while Ellis Park is another local favorite with water slides, jungle gyms, and picnic areas–the perfect place to wind down with family and friends in the heart of Danville.
